Who is responsible
Bergie Consulting AB (org. nr 559366-6141), Malmö, Sweden, is the data controller for the personal data processed through bergie.se. You can reach us at the email address at the bottom of this page.
The website has no contact form, newsletter, user accounts or advertising. Fonts and images are served from the website itself.
Hosting and security
The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, run by Cloudflare, Inc. When you visit, your browser sends technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. Cloudflare processes this to deliver the website and protect it against attacks and misuse. We do not keep server logs of our own.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a working, secure website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Cloudflare decides how long it keeps this technical data; see its privacy policy.
Cookies
The website’s own code does not set cookies or use local storage, and we use no cookies for statistics or advertising. In some situations Cloudflare can set a cookie needed for security, for example if your browser is asked to pass a security check.
Google Search Console
We use Google Search Console to see how the website appears in Google Search and whether its pages are indexed. It adds no script or cookie to this website. Google shows us summarised data about searches and clicks in Google Search, based on its own search service.
If you email us
If you email us, we process your name, email address and what you write, to reply and, where relevant, to prepare or carry out an assignment. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you, or taking steps at your request before an agreement (GDPR Article 6(1)(f) and (b)).
We keep emails for as long as needed to deal with the matter, and longer only where the law requires it, for example Swedish accounting rules.
Links to other services
Booking a call takes you to Calendly, and the LinkedIn link takes you to LinkedIn. Those services handle your data under their own privacy policies, which apply once you leave this website.
Processing outside the EU/EEA
Cloudflare and Google are based in the United States, so data may be processed outside the EU/EEA. Their privacy policies describe the safeguards they rely on for such transfers.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- get access to the personal data we hold about you
- have incorrect data corrected
- have data erased, or its processing restricted
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest
- receive your data in a portable format, where that applies
To use your rights, email us. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), or to the data protection authority where you live.
