Startup Advisory

Practical advice for early-stage teams.

I help founders and early-stage businesses make early decisions about product, UX, brand and pitch material, with a focus on product strategy, digital products and AI. The advice comes from co-founding Eventscript as Head of Design and from more than ten years in UX.

What I can help with

Where early teams get stuck

Early decisions are cheap to change and expensive to get wrong. These are the areas where I can help most.

  1. Shaping the first version

Who the product is for, which flows matter most, and what to design and test first.

  2. Getting the user experience right early

Reviewing flows and interfaces while they are still easy to change.

  3. Brand and positioning

Clarifying what you stand for and how you describe it. When you need a fuller process, a branding workshop takes it further.

  4. Pitch material that tells one story

Structuring and designing a pitch deck, including the research behind it.

Eventscript pitch deck

As co-founder of Eventscript, I advised on and designed the company’s pitch deck, including the research and work behind it. The whole deck builds one story: one shared gameplan for a calm and controlled event execution.

  • What the deck covers

Purpose, product, positioning, competitive landscape, customer segments, business model, roadmap and the team.

  • My part

Advising on the content, the research behind it, and the design of the deck. On the platform itself, I am responsible for the design, while the engineering team builds it.
